Increase Statutory Redundancy for those under the age of 22.

People under the age of 22 currently receive 0.5 weeks' pay for each complete year of service, this should be increased to 1 weeks' pay for each complete year of service. Giving equal entitlement for all workers under the age of 41.

If you are aged 22 or lower, you will likely receive the lowest minimum hourly pay, with the lowest being £4.15. Low hourly pay coupled with the current 0.5 weeks' Statutory Redundancy rate, is not enough to support young workers while they seek new employment.
