The Conservative Manifesto promises they will "crack down on the waste and carelessness that destroys our environment" as well as tackles plastic pollution "both in the UK and internationally." Currently the fashion industry accounts for around 20% of wastewater and 10% of Co2 emissions. Change starts with education, therefore in order to live up to these promises, changes to the curriculum must be made.
