Implement a lighting ban after 11pm on businesses that don't operate in the late hours. The ban should be enforced by issuing fines for businesses that don’t comply with the new rules, with all proceeds going directly to combating climate change.

Large scale business premises that leave their lighting on 24:7 undermine the individual attempts to reverse climate change, as the energy they waste is on such a vast scale the efforts of the individual is consequently nullified. It is highly irresponsible and unnecessary for corporations to waste large amounts of energy by leaving lights on for such obscene lengths of time.
