Ofqual's predicted grade system has already been shown to harshly affect already disadvantaged students. This has been justified through the promise of autumn examinations. However, If these re-sits aren't free, then low-income students won't be able to access the exams to improve their grade and thus the meritocracy and integrity of the 2020 exam series will be comprised.
