The Government should conduct a disability census to enhance transparency and aid planning. The Government should review current capacity and ensure there is basic capacity in all non-selective mainstream school for children with special educational needs or disabilities, including resources to assess such children’s needs before any decisions are made about exclusion or isolation, particularly educational psychologist input.
