The cost of removing "fat bergs", which include wet wipes, from sewers is now costing millions as they form so readily in our sewers. Banning these items when there are so many alternatives is long overdue. This is a measure that will also help the environment. It might also have an educational effect of discouraging people from buying products that they then dispose of in an inappropriate way.
