Anaphylactic shock is incredibly dangerous and can be fatal. People with an allium allergy are not currently able to rely on food labels to determine whether something is safe to eat. Those with allium intolerance can suffer greatly with extreme and debilitating reactions and also face the same struggle of not knowing for sure whether something they buy is safe for them to eat.
