To prevent dogs being injured, my dog hit a barbed wire fence at speed and flipped over with the wire embedded in her chest, we could not get her out as the tension was too tight. A nearby householder heard her screams and was able to cut the wire but she had suffered nasty cuts to her chest. A friends dog also went through a barbed wire fence and literally “skinned” her belly.
