Ban the advertising of, selling of and buying of canine 'ear cropping' kits in the UK in order to protect dogs from the inhumane mutilation of the removal of all or part of it's ear flaps for cosmetic reasons.

Animal mutilation, including ear cropping for non-medical reasons, is illegal in the UK but these kits are readily available to buy online. They are advertised as 'veterinary' but are obviously for general sale. Nothing says you have to prove you're a vet to buy it. If your dog needs it's ear amputating for medical reason a veterinary surgeon already has the surgical instruments required. I believe these kits are likely to be used without anaesthesia, pain relief or under aseptic conditions.
