The Government should establish financial sanctions that ban the transfer of funds via UK registered banks for all companies involved directly or indirectly in cutting down the Amazon Rain Forest.

The Amazon plays in important part in the global ecosystem. The only way to effectively put an end to the deforestation is to create disincentives for this activity.
