Create financial sanctions for companies involved in deforestation of the Amazon

The Government should establish financial sanctions that ban the transfer of funds via UK registered banks for all companies involved directly or indirectly in cutting down the Amazon Rain Forest.

The Amazon plays in important part in the global ecosystem. The only way to effectively put an end to the deforestation is to create disincentives for this activity. One way the UK Government can do this is to prevent the transfer of funds by the companies involved in facilitating this deforestation.
