I would like to see private taxi drivers have to wear a mask when transporting children to school. The taxi driver is in close proximity to the children for hours in a small van and is not wearing a mask. I do not feel this is acceptable as the driver is mixing with passengers all day

Masks must be worn on public transport so why are private taxi drivers exempt from wearing one? I can understand if they are behind a screen but not when they are in a small van with six secondary age special needs children. This is an enclosed space and they are travelling together for up to 4 hours a day to and from school
