Currently the Equality Act 2010 has a loophole and an exemption which allows oversubscribed religious state funded schools in the UK the right to prioritise its admissions for children from a specific religious belief/background

The Equality Act needs to state what it says on the tin. Oversubscribed faith schools should not be able to prioritise admissions based on religion. If they do, they should not receive state funding.
