Nigerians are peacefully protesting against corruption & police brutality. Unprecedented numbers of Nigerians engaged with their democracy to bring change. #EndSARS protestors are reportedly being met with violence by Nigerian police whilst exercising their democratic right to protest, and some independent media outlets have reportedly been sanctioned for their coverage of events.

A public statement by the Government will encourage transparency & accountability in Africa’s Largest Democracy.
