I would like the government to overturn their decision to not help the families who are already struggling with poverty, especially through this pandemic. These children cannot be denied the basic human right to have food. This simply cannot happen anymore.

I would like them to allocate funding to extend the scheme of free school meals right through the Christmas season. Many parents will already be struggling with the cost of Christmas, and the stress this can bring along with it. Having this bit of help can massively reduce the stress that many families are and will be facing this year.
