Hold an urgent review into gynaecological cancer misdiagnosis and late diagnosis

I'm calling on the Department of Health and Social Care and the Secretary of State, to investigate and create a better way to prevent further unnecessary gynaecological cancer deaths which were misdiagnosed as other health related issues. Through better rigorous testing to rule cancer out.

Looking at the statistics from the gynaecological cancer charity The Eve Appeal - "around 21,493 new cases of gynaecological cancers are diagnosed every year".

We know early testing and screening the detection of cancer is paramount for higher survival rates. Sadly many people are still being misdiagnosed, with endometriosis, IBS, fibroids and polyps, to even blaming contraception.

Gynaecological cancer doesn't need to end in death with better diagnosis.
