Phone manufacturers have programmed it to be impossible for people to repair devices, even with genuine parts recovered from other devices. We need to protect the environment, small businesses, and consumer rights. 7.1m iPhones were sold last year.

Many of the latest phones are seemingly impossible to repair on the open market. This is environmentally harmful, and anti-consumer. The government says it wants to 'Build Back Greener'. Reducing avoidable waste is an achievable major step.
