Key workers have kept the country going throughout the pandemic, with little to no time off and no eligibility for financial support, placing themselves at risk to continue working. It is unreasonable to expect people who have continued working to fund the furlough scheme through their taxation when they have received no benefit from it.
Businesses should be responsible for repayment through corporation tax.
