NHS staff should be awarded a service medal for working through covid-19.

As we are working through covid-19 on a daily basis putting our lives at risk and the lives of our families and having to do the jobs of others due to staff shortages to ensure the efficient running of the hospital services I believe all hospital staff should be awarded a service medal for doing so.

NHS staff working in hospitals putting our lives at risk to help others as paramedics and police do we feel we have not been recognised in anyway as paramedics and police have with medals to recognise their working putting themselves at risk to help and save others. We are also working to help and save others and have not in any way been recognised for this work and have nothing to show for putting our lives at risk. A medal solely for hospital facing staff risking their lives would be great.
