Abolish the 3-month ban on donating blood for men who have had sex with men

Men who have sex with other men should not face any additional restrictions when it comes donating blood. There should be no ban based on the gender of a person someone had sex with unless they've contracted an infection.

In the response to Covid-19, many gay men could have been asked to donate plasma in order to assist with research. However, many would have found out they're excluded simply because of their sexual orientation - this is 21st century discrimination.

Individuals should be allowed to give blood regardless of who they've had sex with and should just be tested instead to ensure it's safe.
