Do not instate any form of a National Road pricing scheme in the UK

There are already ever increasing taxes on motorists, be it at the petrol/diesel pump or the annual Vehicle Excise duty, we do not need another tax imposed, especially not a per mile charge and with a black box tracking every mile driven.

Do not instate any plans for a per mile driven charge for motorists. (potentially known as a National Road Pricing Scheme).

Suggesting that the first 3,000 miles are free then you are charged per mile is just as bad. We pay enough motoring tax already.

This has nothing to do with the environment; the 40bn deficit in tax from fuel duty is precisely because the public have taken up greener forms of transport such as electric vehicles. This is simply because you want to fill the deficit.
