It’s great that under 5 parent’s can form a support bubble if your child requires continuous care and has a disability but my 10 year old also needs 24 hour care and we have a household with 2 disabled children. The government need to re-think and include disabled children over the age of 5.

Children at any age with a disability/severe disability are hard work and parents/carers do rely on support a great deal and to say it’s just if your child is under 5 and is disabled and requires continuous care is outrageous. There should be no age limit for forming a support bubble for parents with disabled children.
I think it’s a bit discriminating to be fair as I would say over 5 years of age children with severe disabilities can be a lot harder and can require more support from a support bubble.
