Everyone has mental health, but there are no programmes in place to proactively prevent mental health issues from developing in the first place. As with stopping people smoking cultural narratives and values need to change. Current approaches are too focused on supporting people once they have issues – reactive.

The most common mental health problems are anxiety, stress and depression. We can learn the skills to manage the causes of these if taught. Protect the NHS by funding Mental Health Sessions, Seminars, Training Courses in schools and workplaces.
