It is felt that the government & ESFA reopen up RoATP for employers to register an application for employer provider status, allowing employers the chance to gain their status, to create new opportunities within the many different sectors like hospitality, warehousing, healthcare and many more.

The register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP) closed for new applications at midnight on Wednesday 15 April 2020. This is due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) this has stopped potential employers who have been working to obtain Employer Provider Staus from applying, and being able to access the levy pot they have contributed to help support with upskilling and creating new apprenticeship opportunities under the new government job schemes and creating new apprenticeship jobs.
