Close all secondary schools due the risk of catching COVID-19

I feel as if the Government are not as they continuously keep stating "Following the science", due to the ongoing failure to close secondary schools, despite the high rates of Covid-19 at many schools, and the emergence of the new strain.

Closing secondary schools until the R rate is brought down should help reduce transmission both between students and also teachers and contacts of both. I feel as if the government do not care about the health of students and are more focused on the economy. I politely ask that for them to place student’s health and safety as the priority in this situation. Social gatherings have been banned but at school social distancing is rarely followed and masks are rarely worn. This is not consistent.
