Ban the sale of management services & fees of freehold property owners to management companies. As they are Charging extortionate amounts for stuff we will never use.

Because as of recently I bought my first home as a freehold owner and 2 years later I’m being served a bill for £87 every 6months in advance to maintain a tiny patch of grass that isn’t actually communal it’s public as it’s not gated and anyone can walk into the estate and use that grass (what there is of grass at least). I have never used or seen anyone use this “communal” area in the whole 2 years at this property.
It needs to be against the law to allow house builders to bind this into deeds
