To extend the 2 year period of the ADI part 1 test for ALL PDIs due to Covid 19

By the end of Feb 2021 lockdown, I and many PDIs would have lost 7 months out of the 2 year timeframe to complete the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) part3. As PDIs, we want our part 1 extended by the months that the country has been in lockdown to make it fair and equitable.

Through no fault of Provisional Driving Instructors (PDIs), we have lost 7 months (due to national lockdown) out of the 2 year timeframe given from the date of passing part 1 to allow PDIs to complete part 3 of the ADI test. It is unfair for PDIs to loose the time afforded to them from the date of passing Part1. This is exceptional circumstances that the country is going through and as PDIs, we just want it to be fair. For many we cannot afford to pay to undergo the whole process again.
