Provide financial support to A-level and GCSE examiners.

A-level and GCSE examiners, in the vast majority of cases were not able to be furloughed last year and lost out on vital income. It's simply not fair that their jobs have been cancelled and they receive no financial support. Please provide direct financial support to exam boards to pay examiners.

The vast majority of examiners are teachers who have been battling on the front line or retired teachers, both of which rely on the extra income from examining. Current teachers are having extra work piled upon them because of the cancelation of exams and then receiving a proverbial kick in the teeth by having income taken away from them. It is already difficult to recruit examiners, without supporting examiners now, recruitment will become even more difficult.
