The Government must work with exam boards to find a way to ensure that home educated children can obtain their exam grades in 2021. School educated peers will obtain exam results despite missing several months of school.

Home educated children have been overlooked, and are unable to obtain exam results for the second year running.
In 2020, exams were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. School children obtained GCSEs based on teacher assessments, but these were not available for home educated children.
Exams have been cancelled again in 2021 as school children have missed around 10 months of education.
Home educated children have not had the same disruption to their learning. They have continued lessons.
School educated peers will receive grades this year, whilst home educated children will be unable - for the second year running - to obtain theirs.
