Extend school period product scheme to help young people being home schooled.

I would like the government to make sure that young people living in period poverty, who would usually have access to the school period products scheme, are provided with period products whilst not physically at school during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As many as 1 in 10 teenagers cannot afford menstrual products. The British government recently abolished the tampon tax, but this still isn’t enough.
Last year the government introduced the School period product scheme, meaning that young people had access to free period products at school should they need them.
This scheme is potentially the only way some of these young people get menstrual products which means during lockdown they’re not being provided with products to keep them sanitary.
