Journalists do not always think about the trauma it will cause the families of suicide and murder victims by publishing the most personal and intimate details of their lives. It is not in the public interest to hear about spending habits, notes left to loved ones, relationships etc. These are personal real life events and not for consumer entertainment. The Government should give the families the ability to prevent the reporting about the lives and deaths of their loved ones.
