Allow petitioners to withhold their name from public view when posting petitions

This site requires people to publicly post their names on their petition. I want the Government & Parliament to recognise this risks discouraging people who are suffering from asking for help for fear of reprisal. Gather a name by all means but also give the option to withhold it from public view.

People wish to post about situations that have deep, personal importance to them. This is often born of real life experience that people who haven't been through the same situation wouldn't even think to open for debate.

You've created this site to allow people a voice whilst simultaneously risking discouraging the discussion of vitally important topics such as domestic abuse or social harassment where an individual may be put at serious risk of harm if identified.
