We want the government to increase funding for biodegradable PPE, or PPE that can be reused. This could discourage the production of non-biodegradable PPE so there is less of an impact on the planet.

There are reports that regular PPE is going to waste every day in the NHS. The waste is then incinerated or even ends up in the oceans or landfill. It is very important to make a change to prevent devastating impacts to our environment and damage to much of the natural world. We have to take responsibility of this problem and take action.
