Many of the EU/international students have not had a chance to see their families for Christmas because they live abroad. It is causing a lot of mental health problems, including depression anxiety and social withdrawal. This is cruel and unfair compared to the UK students who can go home. The test and the initial 5 days of quarantine should happen but the tests for students should be free, since not all of them can afford it, and should enable to shorten the quarantine time if negative.
