Increase awareness and investment for Peritoneal Cancer research.

Peritoneal Cancer is one of the least known cancers and yet one of the most likely to result in death. This form of cancer is usually diagnosed at Stage 4. By investing in research, earlier diagnosis, better treatments and support can be found to treat one of the deadliest of cancers.

Peritoneal Cancer is one of the least known cancers and one of the most fatal. Yet research under taken by Peritoneal (Abdominal) Cancer Awareness Group has been unable to locate information into Government investment into this cancer. We have also been unable to identify deaths due to this cancer as is usually lumped in with other cancers assuming it’s a ‘secondary’ cancer. Research into this cancer shows that while it may be a ‘secondary’ it can also be a ‘primary’ cancer, usually Stage 4.
