Add funeral mourners to the travel exemption list for testing on days 2 and 8.

I would like the Government to add funeral mourners of close family members to the exemption list for getting a costly £210pp travel testing package. For two persons travelling abroad, the cost of required Covid testing alone is over £700. Elite sportspeople are exempted, why not funeral mourners?

In order to travel abroad to attend a funeral of a close family member, and subsequently return to England, mourners must book a Travel Test Package for £210pp which covers the cost of testing on days 2 and 8. This is in addition to the other costly tests required before departure from and to the UK. There is an exemption list, which includes people travelling for medical treatment, key workers, and elite sportspeople, but funeral mourners are not on this list.
