The Government should put measures in place to ensure that it is not possible for any individual or company to have an overwhelming influence across the British press. The permissible share size should be based on readerships/viewers by volume and therefore people influenced.

Currently, the press is mainly controlled by a small number of individuals and companies, and this "free" press is allowed to share its views to a vast majority of the population unfettered.
