UK has many health care workers who are from other counrties and they worked hard through the pandemic, unable to see their families for months. Most of them are not NHS stuff and did not get any bonus, but if they want to travel to see their family outside the UK, they have to pay upon returning.

The government may not be aware, but many carer "stuck" in the UK during the pandemic due to travel restrictions. Specially live in carers who usually works 2 weeks or 1 months in the UK, than return their home country for their break. Most of them were unable to travel home for months due to the pandemic, but if they do, they have to pay £210 when returning, even they are tested every week before leaving and before returning. This is a least to say thank you. Make travel tests free for them!
