The Government should require all hospitality venues have to conduct DBS checks of front of house staff before employing them. There have been cases of convicted sexual offenders working in a hospitality setting going on to reoffend. DBS checks could help prevent this.

Certain offenders shouldn't be allowed to work in a hospitality setting, especially where minors may be present. People should feel safe going out for lunch with their families and children. They should have the security that the person serving them is safe.
People who work front of house in a hospitality setting on a daily basis should have a DBS check. I want the Government or Parliament to make this a legal requirement.
