Exercise can help improve the quality of life, life expectancy and recovery rate of cancer patients. It can help reduce the side effects of treatment that often lead to further investigations/medication which in turn put an extra burden on the NHS. Research proves that the impact of exercise is extremely positive, yet it is still not routinely prescribed to cancer patients.
