Provide funding to improve the quality of teaching in schools of sexual violence

Provide increased funding and training to help teachers to educate pupils about sexual violence, including harassment and rape, as well as the power of sexually violent offhand comments. This would also help to increase the power of teachers to tackle this violence if it occurs at school.

According to a recent report, 97% of 18-24 year old women have experienced sexual harassment. This is an issue that so many students have faced, yet there is insufficient education - regardless of gender - on the topic.

Many - if not most - schools have a distinct culture of misogyny. Ensuring that comprehensive education is provided would make the UK a safer place for women.

It is important to act early in life to ensure that women are kept safe throughout their entire lives.
