Work to amend the Hague Convention regarding mothers and children fleeing abuse

Women and children who live overseas and flee back to their home country due to abuse, domestic violence need protection and need a way out. Currently more often than not women are fleeing for the wellbeing of their children only to end up being enforced to return to their abuser.

Women are being killed at the hands of their abuser once sent back. Children are being torn from safety to which they fled, straight back to trauma and abuse due to the Hague Convention. Domestic violence victims who fled are being sent back to the hands of their abuser and relocation orders are extremely expensive to those who don't have funding.
