Public inquiry into UK Government spending on Covid-19

I believe the citizens of the UK deserve the right to know how the UK Government handled expenditure during the Coronavirus Outbreak. With reports of a the Test and Trace system costing £37 Billion, the Government should be held accountable for its spending.

I would like a public inquiry to review exactly where all of the tax payers money was spent during the Pandemic. I would like the expenses to be justified e.g. I would like the Government to justify how a test and trace system cost £37 billion.

I think a full audit and review should determine if all spending and contracts were legitimate and best use of expenditure. For example, were the right companies given the proper contracts.
