Every school should have a legal responsibility to ensure that a sufficient school waste management system is in place to reduce, reuse and recycle. Schools are viewed by some as role models for eco-friendly waste management, and this somewhat daunting responsibility must be addressed appropriately by every school.

Legislation on waste and recycling should be updated so that schools must recycle!
