Give legal rights to be accompanied by family/friends in court

Victims of domestic abuse and people attending family courts should be given legal rights to have someone from their support system (a family member of friend) to accompany them in courts if they require it. This would be in addition to any legal support.

Victims of domestic violence and people in family courts should be allowed more support during the court process, especially when they have to face their abuser. Alongside their legal representation victims and anyone attending family court should be allowed to take at least one other person of their choice into courts with them i.e friend or family member to help give them the strength to get through the whole process and to face their perpetrator.
