Prevent the export of plastic waste produced in the UK from being exported to other countries to deal. We are environmentally obliged to deal with our own waste products and not saddle other countries with the burden.

We are the second largest producers of plastic waste after the USA (BBC 15/05/21). The waste is being exported to countries who unscrupulously and illegally dispose of the UK's plastic waste by dumping it in the countryside or burning it in the open causing pollution, beyond the controls of the UK once it has left our shores.
