The Government must ensure that approved private covid-19 test providers: 1. send PCR/antigen kits and results out in timely manner for Day 2, Day 5 and Day 8 tests. 2. respond to customer concerns in a timely and appropriate manner

There are reports that some approved providers of Travel Test packages have been failing to send out Day 2/8 tests/results or Fit to Fly certificates, paid for by travellers to/from UK. Some providers are reported to have sent out results with wrong info such as date of birth/passport info, or worse, negative results for tests not sent. Many travellers have complained to MPs and formed social media groups to document non-compliance by providers. Some have had to claim credit card refunds as a result of non-receipt of kits.
