Make marriage voidable if a husband hasn’t disclosed existing pregnancy or child

I am petitioning to change the law so that a marriage can be annulled in court if a pregnancy of another woman was not disclosed before your wedding day. As the law stands now in the UK you can make a marriage voidable if your spouse was pregnant by someone else when you married.

But, not if your husband hides the fact before your marriage that someone else was pregnant with his child or already had child with him.

This should be recognised in court and the law changed in order to be equal to both sexes.

Non-disclosure of these facts takes away the bride’s choice of continuing with the marriage and all vows cannot be valid. An Annulment should be allowed during the marriage when this information is known and the law changed.
