Nuclear power has caused relatively few deaths in comparison with the most conservative estimates of the respiratory illness and other impacts of climate change on humans. If we replace fossil fuels, this should help slow global warming and mitigate its impacts. Nuclear power is statistically much safer than many people believe and it should be exploited fully to fulfil our responsibility to take care of the Earth for future generations.
