Require schools to allow students to wear PE kits on hot days

I would like the Government to require all schools to allow students to wear PE kits on hot days as many current uniforms are not suitable for hot weather, especially at schools that do not permit boys to wear shorts, or don't have air conditioning or adequate ventilation.

I would like uniform rules to be changed to ensure that schools allow students to wear something a little more comfortable in hot weather. My own children have been adversely affected as a result of being required to wear full school uniform on excessively hot day.
