Between 2009 and 2019 local authority spending on children’s social care only increased by 16%.
On the 31st of March 2020 there were 80,080 looked-after children in the UK.
During the coronavirus outbreak the number of child abuse calls to the NSPCC has gone up 20%

Something needs to change because vulnerable children are being failed by the childcare system every day due to lack of funding.
